I've had this chair (in Hunter Green) for over two years and it is the best I've ever had. The chair itself is very sturdy, heavy plastic and the seat is generously sized. The chair was also very easy to assemble, but not flimsy or fragile the way many do-it-yourselfers often are. It is easily the most comfortable rocking chair I've ever owned, wooden ones included.
Get this one and you won't be sorry.
The only negative thing I can say is that Amazon.com doesn't offer the chair in green.

I have been looking for this chair for over three years. It is very sturdy and very comfortable. The chair assembles easily, but I strongly recommend that you use a liquid soap in the areas where the pieces connect so that you can more easily slide them together. Without the soap, good luck with the back.
I bought two of the chairs, and highly recommend them. I am over 310 lbs and the chairs are very strong and hold me with no problem.

This chair is the most comfortable rocking chair I have ever sat in , except for a Lazy Boy. It is attractive, durable, comfortable, and rocks marvelously. I have four, two of them about 8 years old and I would not take anything for them--they are so wonderful. I have used them in a sunroom, on a patio, and simply in the yard and they perform well in each place and on each surface. Their comfort level is superb.

After reading the reviews here I decided to purchase one. I agree, this is a sturdy chair! Very easy to assemble, only four parts. I'd wanted an outdoor rocker but didn't want the constant maintenance a wood chair would require and after some extensive research Amazon came thru for me! I am truly happy with my purchase, even though it is listed as 'out of stock', I purchased mine from the manufacturer. Can't go wrong with this, it's advertised as being able to hold 'up to 300 pounds'. Available colors: white and dark green. I have since bought 2 more of these fine chairs; one for a Mother's Day gift and another for my patio. Very comfortable and easy to clean.
UPDATE: I've had these chairs for 2 years now, and am just as pleased as the day I bought them. Simple to clean, the first winter I had them, I took them in and they were used in my informal living room. The dark green matches my other furniture. Can't beat them for comfort! If it hadn't been for Amazon, I would probably have never found them!

This is the most economical Rocker for the front porch sitters!
I've had these before and until they were stolen they seem to last a long time exposed to the elements. (I've just purchase 2 new ones)
I am very pleased with these rockers, I'm a big guy 350# + and they are very sturdy for me!
